“It made sense for NuJak to finally open a satellite office in Hillsborough County, “ said Frank Kendrick, President and CEO of NuJak.  “It was a combination of it being the right time, and having the right opportunity present itself with Jerel McCants Architecture.  We have been collaborating on multiple projects for some time, and when Jerel made the move from his old office to this new one, we struck up a conversation about how sharing the office space could be mutually beneficial. It was an easy decision to make.”

NuJak’s North Florida satellite office, located at 530 W. University Avenue, Gainesville, FL  32601, is in partnership with Santa Fe College’s Center for Innovation & Economic Development (CIED).  The CIED is instrumental in supporting local entrepreneurs in the development and growth of their business, fostering key business relationships, and adding value to the Gainesville community – which aligned seamlessly with NuJak’s goals to venture into the new market.

Located in downtown Gainesville, the CIED offers over 4,500 square feet of convenient meeting space –including a training room, cyber lounge, computer lab, conference room, seminar room, and dining lounge.

“The Gainesville/Alachua County market is booming and NuJak wanted to be a part of that,” said Frank Kendrick.  “Coming back to Gainesville is also personal.  As a graduate of the University of Florida’s (UF) Building Construction program and alum, I knew that NuJak could add significant value to the continued growth and success of the university – the same university that provided me the knowledge and empowerment to open my own construction company – almost 25 years ago.  It will take some time, but we are already making great strides in that market and will continue to be strategic, diligent, and persistent in our approach.”
